I replace the cloth electric wire, to the same length that it original had. End of wire, screws into a standard electric socket. I could put a chain and canopy on fixture, if you would like that instead? Two small screws, on the electric socket, are all that is holding the fixture and shade. I am not comfortable with this situation for supporting the fixture and shade. I think a chain and a canopy would be more functional for today’s living and safer.
Shade is red glass with overlay green glass leaves. Glass has a satin finish. Cameo cut. Five green oval glass jewels crown this fixture. Fixture has a bronze look, but not sure of the metal. Shade screws into the fixture, with plaster holding brass threaded ring. Very unusual and dramatic fixture!
13 inches bottom of shade to top of loop on fixture
7 1/4 inches diameter of fixture leaves
8 3/4 inches shade tall
3 1/8 inches diameter shade
