These Art Nouveau sconces have wonderful designs embedded into the casting of the fixtures. One sconce still has the original piece of wood, from where it was attached to the wall. Back canopy is not large enough to cover an electric box. You will have to have some sort of wooden or other type of material, back to cover the electric box. I can picture a nice piece of oak. Heavy cast bronze fixtures. I am calling it bronze, due to the pinkish color of the metal and the unusual quality of these fixtures. I don’t see these everyday. Shades are blown glass, swirly marbleized white and clear. Hand painted design in earth tone colors of brown and green. Very pleasing to the eye. One shade has two tiny chips on the bottom. Nothing major. Could be ground off. Sockets are 3-way.
