This six arm brass and crystal candle chandelier is a classic. More oblong shaped than spreading out, side to side. Large prisms hang from curled brass towards top. A few flakes on lower prisms, but nothing to really talk about. Made around the 1930s-40s. Can be used without silk shades. I just think that silk shades gives an Old World look and softens the light in the room. Now there are no strict rules in lighting and anything goes. Crystal chandeliers are now found in bedrooms and bathrooms. Crystal gives drama to any room.
